VIA05 – DOMOS – OFICINA
Commissioned by a company dedicated to high mountain excursions, we have carried out the project and technical direction of these spectacular Domes! First, wooden prototypes were made, like cabins at the foot of the Sierra de Córdoba, and in a later stage we made the prototypes to install in the Mountain.
The project has required time and work for the study of the assembly of the composite plates that made up the structure and gave shape to the model. It was necessary to think of a strong, very light material, since access to the mountain is very difficult. It also had to be easy to handle and assemble with few workers.
Toilet and bedroom modules were made around a main, larger module that housed the common areas. The entire interior was also carefully designed to provide warmth and pleasant, livable spaces in a very aggressive climate.
